Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service reported to police that the male located in an alleyway off Buccleuch Road, had serious injuries and was in cardiac arrest at 0050 hrs 22.07.2024. Sadly nothing could be done to save him. The male victim has been named as Thapelo JALI , aged 21 from Stafford.

4 local males, have been charged with the murder of Thapelo JALI. They have been remanded in custody.

Our investigators continue to appeal for information and footage from devices such as Smart Doorbell, Dashcam and CCTV recorded between 10pm on Sunday (21 July) and 1am Monday (22 July).
