Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died in a collision in Tamworth

Staffordshire Police are continuing to appeal for information after a man died in a collision in Tamworth.


The collision, which happened at approximately 10pm on Sunday evening 3rd March, on Comberford Road, involved a black Audi Q3 and a Harley Davidson motorbike.


The rider of the motorbike, Richard Radbourne, 47 of Tamworth, was found with serious injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Specially trained officers are supporting his family.


Police are particularly interested in witnesses, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from Coronation street, Ludgate, Barbara Street, Hospital Street, Upper Gungate, Comberford Road, Gill Way and Wiggington Road between 9.45pm and 10pm.


Murat Karakas, 51 of Tamworth has been charged with Murder.  A 23 year old man of Tamworth has been released on conditional bail for causing death by dangerous driving.
