Appeal for Information

Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses. Detectives are investigating after a man was injured in Stoke-on-Trent.

Officers responded to reports of a firearm being discharged in Eturia Vale Road, approximately 1am Tuesday 4th October.

A man in his 30's was shot and received non-life threatening injuries.  He was taken to hospital and has been discharged.

The 40-year-old nam, who was arrested has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

It was reported that two men, dressed in black, had walked past the victim at the time and were believed to be in possession of a possible firearm.

Detectives are particularly interested in any CCTV, dashcam or smart doorbell footage in and around Eturia Vale Road; specifically focused more to the top of the banj and towards the roundabout near Snow Hill at approximately 1am.
