Murder of Peter Miller
The Norfolk Major Investigation Team are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murder of Peter Miller who's body was found inside 10 Camden Place, Great Yarmouth on Sunday 9th December 1984.
Details of Incident
Peter's body was found inside the address in Camden Place Great Yarmouth which was the home address of his brother Tony. Peter had been living with Tony for several months.
The body was discovered at around 7.45pm on Sunday 9th December 1984, he had sustained a single stab wound to the chest. The initial investigation took place during 1984 and 1985. It was then reviewed in 2010, and continued in 2013 with the team working closely with Peter's brother Tony in reviewing active lines of enquiry which continue to this day.
As part of the on-going enquiry Tony Miller has appeared on ITV's This Morning on Wednesday 27th June renewing the appeal for witnesses or anybody for information to come forward.
The current investigation is being led by A/Det Insp Neil Stewart who added, "Despite the passage of time we remain determined to bring to justice those responsible for the Murder of Peter Miller and in doing so we have maintained an excellent working relationship with Peter's brother Tony. Whilst these events were many years ago I would appeal to those people who may have witnessed events that day around Camden Place or anybody who may have information which is relevant to the case, I would urge them to come forward and speak to our team"
