Appeal for information regarding the whereabouts of Mohammed MEGHERBI

Police in Cardiff are appealing for information regarding an Algerian man who has been missing for more than a month.

Mohamed MEGHERBI was last seen in Roath on Tuesday, October 9th and concern is growing for his welfare.


A 26-year-old man from Llanedeyrn has been arrested in connection with his disappearance and he remains in custody at Cardiff Bay Police Station.

Detective Chief Inspector Gareth MORGAN, from the South Wales Police Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We have serious concerns for the welfare of Mohamed MEGHERBI who is originally from Algeria and had recently been living in Newport Road, Roath, Cardiff.

“We are urging anyone who knows him, anyone who may have seen him, or Mr MEGHERBI himself to please contact us or their nearest police station.”
