A murder enquiry has been launched following the death of 24 year old Drew Perham from Plymouth whose body was found in Millbay Marina on Sunday 25th January 2026.

Drew was reported missing to police on Saturday 24th January after he failed to return home from a night out on Friday. Sadly, his body was located in the water at Millbay Marina during searches on Sunday.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but Drew's family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

A 19 year old man from Plymouth was arrested on Sunday 25th January on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Today, 26th January, a second man, aged 19 and from Exmouth, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken into police custody. 

Detectives continue to appeal for information particularly from any witnesses who may have been in the Millbay area between 0100hrs and 0500hrs on Saturday 24th January.
