Police are currently investigating a serious incident that occurred on the A379 Embankment Road, Kingsbridge in the early hours of the 23rd April 2025 where a young woman was seriously injured after it was suspected she was struck by a vehicle.  She was treated by paramedics but sadly died at the scene.

Our appeal is for witnesses who may live on Embankment Road, Kingsbridge or the surrounding roads who may have witnessed the incident.

In addition to our appeal for witnesses, we are also seeking any CCTV, Ring Doorbell, Dashcam or Mobile Phone footage that may be relevant to the incident.   In particular, if you live in Embankment Road or adjacent streets, or you were travelling around the area between 22:00 hours on the 22nd April 2025 and 05:00 hours on the 23rd April.
