Sussex Police appeal for information

Appeal for information regarding a fatal fire at a house in Croxden Way, Eastbourne, just before 1am on Thursday 10 July 2018.


Details of Incident

Just before 1am on Thursday 10 July 2018, emergency services were called to a fire at a house in Croxden Way, Eastbourne. 

Gina Ingles, 34, and her son Milo Ingles-Bailey, 4, were tragically killed in the blaze. Gina’s partner escaped through a window, sustaining serious injuries.

Two local men, aged 47 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of two counts of murder and one of attempted murder – the 23-year-old remains released under investigation pending further enquiries; the 47-year-old was released without charge and will face no further action.

Sussex Police would like to hear from anyone who thinks they might have information which could assist the investigation team with their enquiries.
