Murder investigation following incident

Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team are appealing for information relating to an incident in Walton-on-Thames on 22nd April 2021 which led to the death of one man and serious injury to another.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident in Walton-on-Thames on the afternoon of 22nd April 2021, which has sadly left one man dead and another seriously injured in hospital.
Police were called to Church Street at the rear of the Marks & Spencer Foodhall at around 2.15pm following reports that an incident had taken place between a group of men.
One of the men then got into his car, a white 1 series BMW, and is reported to have driven at two of the other men in the group.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a man in his 40s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. A second man was taken to hospital but is expected to recover.
The owner of the vehicle was later arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The White BMW 1 Series was subsequently found abandoned close to the Sayes Court Allotments in Temple Field Close, Addlestone.
