Thames Valley Police Murder of Luciano Dos Santos
Thames Valley Police have launched an investigation after a man injured in an attack in Southfield Road, Oxford on 27/02/2019 later died in hospital.
Details of Incident
Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit has launched a murder investigation after a man injured in an attack in Southfield Road, Oxford, died in hospital this evening (6th March 2019).
The victim, Luciano Dos Santos who was 22 and from Southampton, was struck by a vehicle and stabbed several times in the attack last Wednesday (27th February 2019) and taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
Despite efforts to save Luciano's life, he has sadly since died of his injuries. His family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik, of the Major Crime Unit said: "We believe the incident started at approximately 2320hrs in Ridgefield Road before moving into Southfield Road and involved a number of people."
