Murder in St Peters Road Great Yarmouth 08/02/2023
Police in Norfolk are asking for community assistance with the investigation into the fatal stabbing of a 23 man in St Peters Road, Great Yarmouth in the early afternoon of Wednesday 8th February 2023
Details of Incident
Police were called to Wellington Road shortly after 12.40pm following a disturbance and officers arrived on scene to find a man with serious injuries.
Paramedics also attended but despite treatment, the 23-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the victim was involved in confrontation with another man on St Peters Road.
Detective Inspector David McCormack who is leading the investigation said “We have a team of detectives working on this enquiry and while we’re in the early stages of the investigation, we are following numerous leads. I would urge anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information concerning the people involved to come forward.”
