Murder - Clapham Wood - Norwich - 22nd June 2020

Police in Norfolk are appealing for assitance following the discovery of a male body in Clapham Wood, Norwich in the early hours of the 22nd June 2020.


Details of Incident

Police have charged a man with murder following the death of a 40-year-old man in Norwich.
 
Officers discovered a man with serious head injuries in Clapham Woods, off Drayton Road, just before 5.15am on Monday 22 June. The ambulance service attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
A Home Office Post Mortem examination, which took place on Tuesday 23 June has established the man, identified as Daniel Littlewood, aged 40 and from Norwich, died as a result of severe traumatic head injuries.
 
Andrew Forbes, aged 39 and of Crome Road in Norwich, has been charged with murder.

Daniel’s father, Owen Littlewood, said: "Daniel was a much-loved son and brother.  His death has come as a huge shock to our family, and follows the recent death of his mother in April from illness.  We would request our privacy be respected at this most difficult of times.”
