Reece Hornibrook - Homicide - King's Lynn

Police in Norfolk have appealed for assistance following a serious assault that resulted in a 17 year male old losing his life which occurred in the early hours of Sunday 7th July 2019 in Saddlebow Road, Kings Lynn.


Details of Incident

Officers were called to Saddlebow Road near the junction of Metcalfe Avenue Kings Lynn at about 3am to reports of a number of people fighting in the street. 

Reece was found with serious head injuries and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he remained in a critical condition. Sadly he died on the 9th July 2019.

Detective Inspector, Lewis Craske, said: "We are working to establish the sequence of events which led to this young man receiving his injuries that cost him his life. 

"We want to reassure local residents that we're not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident and there is no wider threat to the public. 

"I would be very keen to hear from anyone who may have any further information that could assist with these enquiries, whether it concerns events leading up to it or the incident itself.” 

In particular police would be keen to hear from anyone living in the area that saw or heard any disturbance in the street and any nearby residents who have either CCTV fitted to their properties or dashcam.
