Serious Incident in Northampton on 18/07/2024

Following a serious incident on 18th July 2024, Northamptonshire Police Major Crime have launched a murder investigation. The incident happened in the Millers meadow park area of Northampton. The male who died has been named as Tommy Boom, of Northampton.

A murder investigation has been launched in Northampton following the death of a man in the Semilong area of the town today (Thursday, July 18).

Emergency services were called shortly after midnight to a footpath in Millers Meadow – known locally as Semilong Park - close to the junction with Spencer Bridge Road following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Known as Tommy, the 30-year-old suffered stab wounds and despite the best efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
