Murder Operation launched in Nottinghamshire

A murder enquiry has been launched after a house fire claimed the life of Fatoumatta Hydara, and her young children Naemah Dramneh and Fatimah Drammeh,

 

Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at the first floor flat of a two storey residential property on Fairisle Close, Clifton, at approx 03.00 on Sunday 20th November 2022. A joint Fire and Police Investigation has concluded that the fire was started deliberately.

 

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses who were in the area at that time and saw something suspicious to please come forward.

 

Nottinghamshire Police also understands that residents living nearby will be shocked by this news and have concerns about what happened. A policing presence will be maintained in the area.
