Attempted Murder near Leamington Railway Station - Sunday 7th April 2019

Details of Incident

At around 3pm on Sunday 7th April 2019, a 16 year old boy was stabbed in area of Sayer Close Leamington Spa, near the end of the pedestrian underpass which gives access to the forecourt of the Leamington Railway Station.


After being stabbed, the victim made his way through the underpass to the station forecourt chased by two suspects. He collapsed near the taxi rank on the forecourt. Another male received minor injuries.


The suspects collected their bikes from inside the railway station, and left in a taxi. They are described as;


Black male in his late teens, skinny build, around 5’10" tall, dark hair, longer on top than the sides and a thin beard. He was wearing a black tracksuit and a baseball cap, and carrying a black Nike rucksack.


Black male in his late teens, around 5’10", short tight curly hair, clean shaven, wearing a white Superdry hoodie, jeans, and a dark baseball cap. He was carrying a black rucksack on his back and a light coloured small β€˜man’ bag on his front.


Their bicycles were described as mountain bikes, one blue the other black.


The two victims are described as follows:


The boy who suffered the stab wound is a 16 year old black male. He was wearing a black puffa jacket, a black Nike top and black Nike jogging bottoms.


The boy who suffered minor injuries is an Asian teenage boy wearing a black jacket which was open and showing a large white Nike motif on the top underneath. He was also wearing dark Nike trousers.


Warwickshire Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Leamington Railway Station and/or Sayer Close Leamington at around 3pm on Sunday 7th April 2019, who saw the altercation or any of the described males.
