We're appealing for witnesses and footage as we continue to investigate disorder in Bearwood.

We were alerted to a group fighting with weapons on Bearwood Road at just before 6pm yesterday (11 February 2026).

Three men are currently in hospital - one with potentially serious injuries - following the disorder.  The men - aged between 19 and 30 - have been arrested on suspicion of wounding. They will be questioned when medically fit.

Another man, aged 42, has also been detained on suspicion of wounding and is currently in custody for questioning.

The road was closed during initial investigations but has since re-opened.

We're currently assessing CCTV we've recovered but we know there were a number of people in the area at the time, and we're keen to hear from anybody with information or mobile phone footage.  We're particularly interested in any dashcam footage from motorists who were driving through the area.

We fully understand how concerning this will be within the community and we'll have an increased police presence to provide reassurance and visibility. At this stage we are currently treating this an isolated incident.
