Officers investigating have opened a Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) where members of the public can submit photos or video relevant to the investigation.

We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in the city centre area before the incident, or who might have seen the person responsible acting suspiciously.

A man in his 20s remains in custody while our enquiries continue, while a woman in her 30s remains in hospital at this time.
