South Yorkshire Police investigation into the murder of Pearl Simone Hancock. Public appeal for information

Details of Incident

South Yorkshire Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of Pearl Simone Hancock who was found unconscious and unresponsive after ambulance crews were called to an address on Ravenscroft Place, Sheffield at approximately 22:30hrs Friday 4th July 2020.

A 41-year-old female has been charged with the murder.

Senior Investigating Officer, DCI Simon Palmer said:
"At approximately 10-10.30pm Friday 4th July 2020, Pearl Simone Hancock was fatally wounded in the Ravenscroft Place area of Sheffield. A 41 year old female was located approximately 2.5 miles away in the Nunnery Drive area.  She was blood-stained and partially clothed.  The female has subsequently been charged with murder, but we are keen to piece together her movements from the area where the assault took place to where she was arrested over 2 miles away."

"Were you in the Ravenscroft Place area on Friday 4th July 2020 and if so, did you see or hear anything suspicious? Were you anywhere between Ravenscroft Place and Nunnery Drive, including Noehill Place, did you see a female in a state of undress with blood on her acting suspiciously?  Did you capture anything on your CCTV cameras or dash cams?  Even something that seems insignificant or routine could be vital to our investigation."
