South Yorkshire Police investigation into the death of Kimberley Smith. Public appeal for information.

Details of Incident

South Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of Kimberley Smith who was found unconscious and unresponsive after ambulance crews were called to an address on Pavilion Way, Firth Park.  A male aged 22 years, from Sheffield, was arrested and subsequently bailed in relation to her death.

Senior Investigating Officer, DCI James Axe said:

"At some time between 4am and 4.30am on Friday (26 June), it is believed that Kimberley left an address located on Lilac Road, Firth Park, and it is believed Kimberley then walked to Pavilion Way.  It is now our priority to build up a picture of exactly what happened between her leaving the Lilac Road address and the ambulance service being called at 8.25am.  If you were in the area and believe you saw Kimberley that morning, please contact us.  We are also looking to speak to anyone who believes they hold information that may assist us as we investigate her death."

"Did you capture any people or vehicles on your CCTV cameras or dash cams?  Even something that seems insignificant or routine could be vital to our investigation."
