Officers are appealing for information from the public.

At 12.21pm on Sunday 20 July, Police were called re concerns for the welfare of a woman at an address on Canal Street, Chester.

Officers and Paramedics attended the scene and sadly, despite the best efforts of all those involved, a 41-year-old woman was pronounced dead.

This is believed to be an isolated incident.  A scene is currently in place and Canal Street is closed as Officers conduct enquiries into the full circumstances.
