Approximately 10:30am on Tuesday 22 August 2023, officers were called to an address on Ainsworth Road in Radcliffe, Bury, to reports of a burglary. On searching the address, Police found the body of a man. The male was pronounced dead at the scene and has been identified as Donald Patience 45 years.

To help with further enquiries, officers are now appealing to the public who may have seen or heard anything unusual earlier this week in and around the area.

Police are appealing to the local community for any eyewitness accounts or footage of any activity that may be able to assist with the investigation. This includes CCTV, Dashcam, ring doorbell footage and mobile phone footage in relation to the incident.
