Murder of Kevin Wood in Manchester city centre on 20/11/2021
Details of Incident
Officers were called at 8pm on Saturday (20 November) to a report of a disturbance involving a number of people on Dantzic Street near the Printworks.
Around 10 people were reported to have been involved in a disturbance and a 60-year-old man, who was a passer-by at the time and not involved in the initial disturbance, was assaulted and died at the scene.
Callum CROSBIE (DOB 26/04/1999), of Coleridge Close, Newcastle, has been charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester City Magistrates Court this morning (22 November).
Further enquiries are underway to establish the full details of the incident.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and are particularly keen to hear from anybody in or around the Dantzic street area of the Printworks around 8pm on Saturday 20th November 2021 or have any information that may help the investigation. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone with CCTV, Dashcam or mobile footage of the incident
