Murder of Charlie Elms

GMP are appealing for information with regards to the murder of Charlie Elms


Details of Incident

Police were called shortly after 5.05pm on Wednesday 26th May to a report of a disturbance involving a group of men at an address on Fifth Avenue, Oldham.

 

Enquiries have since established a blue Vauxhall Corsa pulled onto Fifth Avenue, Oldham and a group of 5 males - armed with knives and machetes - exited the vehicle before causing damage to property.

 

The group subsequently fled the scene after being confronted by another male. As one of the group fled on foot he was fatally stabbed.

 

Emergency services attended and a 25 year old man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward and assist police with their investigation
