Details of Incident
Merseyside Police are continuing to appeal for information following the fatal events in Southport on Monday 29th July 2024.
Following this, Merseyside has seen pockets of disorder and protest break out across Merseyside. We remain determined in relentlessly pursuing those responsible for causing harm and creating fear across our communities. It remains absolutely vital we work as a multi-agency partnership to collectively identify those responsible for the disorder and continue to safeguard our communities from future risk of harm.
Across the partnership, it is vital that we hear from you. If you have any information regarding something you may have seen or heard. Please check your CCTV, dashcam devices or if you have any imagery then we urgently require and pass on anything that may assist.
Our thoughts and condolences remain with the families and communities who have been impacted by these tragic events.
Serious violence and disorder causes devastation across our communities and impacts on trust & confidence. We will do all we can to bring those responsible to justice and remove weapons from those communities who suffer from the harm and misery this causes.
