OP DAWLIN – Appeal for information
Police are appealing for information regarding the murder of John Temitope Onetufo in Deptford. On Wednesday 31st December 2025 at 12.37pm Police were called to attend Grove Street in Deptford. There they found John Temitope Onetufo who had collapsed in the street. He had sustained a single stab wound to the chest. The London Ambulance Service attended and administered first aid but sadly John Temitope died at the scene.

Detectives are appealing for information following the murder of John Temitope Onetufo
On Wednesday 31st December 2025 at 12.37pm Police were called to attend Grove Street in Deptford. There they found John Temitope Onetufo who had collapsed in the street having sustained a single stab wound to the chest. The London Ambulance Service attended and administered first aid but sadly John Temitope was pronounced dead at the scene.
A suspect fled the scene.
The victim's family has been informed and is being supported by specialist officers.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it to come forward.
