Police are appealing for information regarding the murder of Jamal Coombes, a 17 year old male, who was fatally stabbed on Glycena Road SW11 at approximately 04.04am on Saturday 20th June 2026.

Police were called by witnesses who said there was a disturbance at the location. Jamal was found collapsed on Glycena Road near the junction with Grayshott Road and, despite the efforts of the LAS, died at the scene. There was a group of males  involved in the incident, who originally ran north on Acanthus Road from the direction of Lavender Hill before turning on to Glycena Road and getting involved in a fight involving knives. 

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone in the Lavender Hill area of Glycena Road, Acanthus Road, Grayshott Road and Gideon Road 03.30am to  05.00am on Saturday 20th June who saw anything that might assist the investigation.
