Detectives are appealing for witnesses in relation to the murder of John Murray, a 75 year old male, who was fatally assaulted outside Flat 81 Carlton Road, Chiswick, London, W4 5DY on Saturday 12^th October 2024 at approximately 3.30pm.

An ambulance was called by a member of the public who found Mr Murray unconscious on the second floor balcony outside his home. Despite efforts to save his life he was pronounced dead at the scene. Results from the post mortem have indicated that Mr Murray died as a result of a head injury caused by an assault.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who knew John Murray, such as close friends or others who came in to contact with him on a regular basis. In particular they need to trace those who either spoke with him or saw him on Saturday 12^th October 2024 in the hours leading up to his death.
