Police are appealing for information following a disturbance on a Route 59 bus on 21/11/2024

A man has died following a disturbance on a bus in Brixton.

 

The Met's Specialist Crime Command launched an investigation following a disturbance involving two men on a Route 59 bus in Brixton Road, London SW9 at around 10.20am on Thursday 21st November, 2024.

 

One of the men, aged 40, was taken to hospital following the incident, but he sadly died from his injuries. His Family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

 

A man was charged on Friday 22nd November, 2024 with attempted murder and theft. 

 

Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
