Detectives are investigating the murder of Alexandros JOSEPHS. 

Just before 2pm on Wednesday 10th May 2023 a serious altercation took place towards the end of Malyons Road between the driver of a BMW car and another male. During the incident the driver of the BMW car was stabbed and died.   

The victim’s vehicle is captured on CCTV footage entering Malyons Road at 1.48pm and driving towards the park located at the end of the road. The vehicle is captured again on CCTV travelling back from the direction of the park and at some point has collided with a pedal cycle.

A damaged black pedal cycle was located close to park entrance at the end of Malyons Road and it appears that the bike was pushed or dragged along the road for approximately 20 meters.

The suspect is believed to have made off into the park on foot.

Police would like to hear from anyone that may have been in Malyons Road or near to the park entrance on Malyons Road and may have seen the male running at around 2pm on Wednesday the 10th May 2023. 

Police are trying to establish why this incident happened and are appealing to anyone with any information to come forward.
