OP WARNSPAN Murder - Cowley Road, Uxbridge

Police are appealing for information relating to a murder that took place on Cowley Road near the junction with Frayslea, Uxbridge just after 7pm on Wednesday 6th July 2022.


A murder investigation has been launched in Hillingdon after a 57-year-old was found with fatal stab wounds.

Police were called at 19:07hrs on Wednesday, 6 July to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Cowley Road and The Greenway, Uxbridge.

Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance. A 57-year-old man was found with a stab wounds.

Despite the efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene.

A 49-year-old man subsequently attended a west London police station where he was arrested on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody.

Detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command have been informed and enquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for anyone who may driven along that road around 7pm and may have dash cam footage, or witnessed anything to come forward.
