Murder in Sebastopol Road - Operation SEMINGTON

Police are appealing for information regarding the murder of Christopher GEORGE on Wednesday 29/07/2020.

Metropolitan Police are appealing for information relating to the murder of Christopher GEORGE.

At around 9.00pm on Wednesday the 29th of July 2020 members of the public reported hearing gunshots in Sebastopol Road, Edmonton, London N9.

When Police officers arrived at the scene they found Christopher GEORGE collapsed outside Alma House in Sebastopol Road with gunshot injuries.  Despite efforts of Police and London Ambulance Service first responders Christopher died at the scene from his injuries.

The enquiry team believe Christopher arrived in Sebastopol Road in a Black Mercedes CLA220 bearing the registration mark BU63OXB, this vehicle has since been recovered by Police.  Witness accounts suggest that two people were seen running away from the scene of the shooting and that they may have left the area in a dark coloured car, it remains unclear however whether these people were involved in the incident or not.
