Police are appealing for information regarding the Murder of 52 years old Kilburn resident Junior George Nelson. On the 14th March 2016 Junior's remains were found in undergrowth near railway lines at the back of Rabournmead Drive in NORTHOLT.


Operation MALIGAR - Appeal for information re the death of Junior George NELSON

Police are appealing for information regarding the Murder of 52 years old Kilburn resident Junior George Nelson.

On the 14th March 2016 Junior's remains were found in undergrowth near railway lines at the back of Rabournmead Drive in Northholt.

Junior had been reported missing in August 2015 and Police believe he was murdered on or shortly after the evening of Saturday the 15th August 2015.

Despite extensive enquiries and a number of arrests, those responsible for his death have not been brought to justice

The last known sighting of Junior was at his address on Aldershot Road NW6 at around midday but Junior is believed to have remained in the vicinity of his home address until the evening of Saturday 15th August. Police believe he then travelled out of the Kilburn area towards Wembley. This was a highly unusual journey for him.

The last known usage of his mobile phones was at 10pm in the general area of Stonebridge Park in Wembley.

The mobile phone he was using at the time had never been recovered.

Junior was well known in the Kilburn area. Police believe that prior to his disappearance he was being taken advantage of by those involved in dealing illegal drugs in the area.

Police are appealing for anyone who can provide information about Junior’s disappearance and Murder or any information about his lifestyle and movements around the time of his disappearance.
