Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a man has sadly died in a flat on Linfield Road, Hanley at about 9.30pm (Wednesday 12th November).

Police are carrying out a number of enquiries to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, including a forensic examination of the area and house to house enquiries this morning (Thursday 13 November). Police are working to track down the mans family.

A 56-year-old man, of Stoke-on-Trent, has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He will be questioned in custody as our investigation continues.
