We are appealing for information after a man's body was found in Sutton Coldfield
The body of Guled Hussein, aged 28 was tragically found in a field near Wyndley Close on Monday evening (31 March 2025). We are currently treating his death as unexplained.
We are reviewing CCTV footage from around the area where his body was found and have completed house to house enquiries nearby.
As part of our investigation we want the public’s help to trace his movements before he died.
Guled lived in the Bristol Road and Belgrave Middleway area in Birmingham and we are making enquiries to establish how he was found in Sutton Coldfield.
He was last seen on 25 March 2025 at around 6 a.m. at his home address.
We are appealing for any CCTV footage from the area where he lived and where his body was found.
Detective Inspector Ade George said; “As part of our investigation it is crucial we piece together Guled’s movements in the days leading up to his death".
"I want to appeal to anyone who may have seen Guled, in and around the Birmingham area to get in touch as soon as possible".
"His family have been informed and we are supporting them. Our thoughts are with them at this tragic time."
Officers will be in the local area to offer reassurance while we establish the full circumstances.
