Northumbria Police and partner agencies are dealing with a major incident that has occurred in Violet Close, Newcastle Upon Tyne involving an explosion.

The incident was reported at 00:42AM on Wednesday 16^th October 2024.

We would like to hear from anybody reporting friends or family missing and believed involved in this incident and anybody who may have witnessed the incident or has any information that may assist the police.

We would like to appeal to anyone that may have CCTV Footage, dash cam footage or mobile phone videos linked to the incident.
