Derbyshire Constabulary - Appeal for information

Police appeal for information following a hit and run in Peasley on 26/11/2024 which killed Alana Armstrong

Appeal for information

This portal has been created to appeal for information after mum of one, Alana Armstrong was killed after a hit and run incident in Pleasley on Tuesday 26th November 2024.

Keaton Muldoon, 23 of Tuckers Lane, Mansfield, has been charged with murder and attempted murder after a collision which killed Alana Armstrong, who was riding pillion on an e-bike. The driver of the bike, a man in his 20's, remains in hospital having had part of his leg amputated as a  result of the collision.

Police are urgently trying to trace the person who wrote a note on a Land Rover Discovery, believed to have been involved in the incident.

It is believed that the dark blue Land Rover Discovery, which had a distinctive private plate, was parked in the Jacksons Park area of Mansfield over night on Tuesday 26th November into the following day.

We believe a note was written and placed on the Land Rover's windscreen due to poor parking.

We want to speak to the writer of the note - or anyone who saw the car in the area as a matter of urgency.
