At approximately 23.00hours on Friday 1st November 2024 five unidentified suspects have stolen two busts from the chemistry facility at the University of Manchester.
Palestine Action have claimed responsibility for this incident and an investigation has commenced.
Palestine Action have further claimed responsibility for a series of significant criminal damage offences across Greater Manchester against companies linked to Elbit Systems, an Israeli defence contractor where red paint has been sprayed over buildings, individuals have locked themselves onto buildings, staff threatened and significant damage caused.
Greater Manchester Police has opened an impartial investigation into these incidents and are seeking witnesses, footage of the incidents, intelligence around those responsible and any lines of enquiry.
