OP CLIPWAND Murder in Camden Friday 13th June

Police are appealing for information regarding the Murder of 69 year old Jennifer Abbott in Camden. On Friday 13th June 2025 at 18:00 hours Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in Mornington Place, Camden. Officers attended and found Jennifer, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Jennifer previously worked in the creative industries and was also known professionally as Sarah Steinberg.


Details of Incident

Police are appealing for information regarding the Murder of 69 year old Jennifer Abbott in Camden.

On Friday 13th June 2025 at 18:00 hours Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to an address in Mornington Place, Camden.

Officers attended and found Jennifer, who was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The last known sighting of Jennifer was on the morning of Tuesday 10th June 2025. Three days before she was found.

Jennifer previously worked in the creative industries and was also known professionally as Sarah Steinberg.

She was popular in the community and could be seen walking her Corgi dog on most days near her address.

Her family are aware and will continue to receive support from specialist officers.

A post-mortem examination has taken place and detectives are keeping an open mind about the possible motive for the incident. At this stage there have been no arrests.

Police believe a Rolex watch may be missing from Jennifer’s address. The watch has a distinctive diamond encrusted watch face.

Police are appealing for anyone who can provide information regarding Jennifer or who may have seen her prior to the 13th June.

Police are also appealing for anyone who may have information regarding the whereabouts of her Rolex watch.
