Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a murder in Hazel Grove in Burntwood.

Two people have been charged following our investigation into the death of a man in Burntwood. 

Corey Magnus, 27, Burntwood, who is also known as John Solomon, has been charged with the murder of 32 year old Sashon Richards-Brown. 

Danielle Simpson, 33, of Burntwood has been charged with assisting an offender. 

Officers were called to Hazel Grove shortly before 9am on Tuesday 5th May following reports of persons fighting.

Sashon Richards-Brown, 32 was found with significant injuries, sadly, nothing could be done to save him, and he was pronounced dead shortly after 10am.

Specialist officers are supporting his family.

The dog that was taken to the emergency vets for treatment remains there in a serious condition.
