Emergency services are responding to a major incident at Greenwich Pier following the collapse of a pontoon earlier this morning.

The incident occurred at 07:36 GMT outside the Old Royal Naval College when a Thames Clipper collided with the pontoon.

The immediate vicinity has been evacuated, and cordons remain in place
