An investigation is underway and a suspect has been arrested after two men suffered serious injuries in Ramsgate. Kent Police were called to reports of a man with a knife in the harbour area at 4.47am on Sunday 23 August 2026. Patrols and paramedics attended the scene where two men, one in Harbour Street and one in Harbour Parade had sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds. They were taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.

A 21 year old man was arrested shortly after the incident and was taken into custody. Enquiries into the circumstances are continuing this morning.
