Police in Norwich are asking for the public's assistance in their investigation into the murder of a male in Paragon Place, Norwich at about 6.30pm-6.45pm on Friday, 2nd August 2024.

Officers were called at 6.44pm on Friday 2 August 2024 to reports a man had been stabbed and despite the efforts of emergency services the man, in his 30s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Following a Home office Post Mortem it has been confirmed that the male died from a single stab wound to the chest.

Detective Superintendent Mike Brown from the Norfolk Major Investigation Team said: “We recognise the concerns people in the area will have and would urge anyone to speak to our officers.

“While we are still in the early stages of the investigation, we do believe the parties involved were known to each other and there is no wider risk to the public.

“We are working through a number of lines of enquiry in order to trace the suspect’
