OPERATION INVENTS - PAUL LIPSCOMBE
Leicestershire Police Child Exploitation Team Enquiry
DO YOU HAVE INFORMATION?
Paul Lipscombe, 51, from Rothley, has been sentenced for 34 offences involving six girls aged between 12 and 15, after targeting them through a social media app.
A dedicated team of detectives is continuing a thorough investigation to determine the full extent of Lipscombe’s offending, which has so far identified victims from across the UK. Evidence also revealed that Lipscombe used artificial intelligence technology to create and share indecent images of children.
The investigation began in April 2024, following concerns raised in Lincolnshire about a missing 15-year-old girl. As enquiries progressed, further offences were uncovered, and it became clear that Lipscombe had contacted multiple girls using several Snapchat accounts.
He used both his real name and aliases, including ‘Dom Woodmore’ and ‘George’, to communicate with victims online.
The investigation remains ongoing.
