Lincolnshire Police - Request for Information

Lincolnshire Police murder investigation into the death of Marc Glasscoe 14/06/2024

Operation Lacquer - Lincolnshire Police

We are asking for help to piece together the last movements of 46-year-old Marc Glasscoe as part of our ongoing investigation into his death.

Marc was found with serious injuries outside residential garages at Frank Swaby Court off Newark Road, Lincoln, late afternoon on Friday 14 June. He was taken to hospital where he later died at 5.10pm on Sunday, 16 June.

Following further investigations, our detectives are now keen to focus on Marc’s movements between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. We are particularly keen to learn more about how he came to be outside the garages at Frank Swaby Court, and who may have been with him at the time.

We need our community’s help to do this.

We’re asking anyone who was driving, or riding a motorcycle or pushbike which may have had a camera which was recording between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Friday 14 June, to send that footage in to us. The footage might show a man slumped against the garages during this time, appearing unwell, who we believe will be Marc.

There may be other information captured on that footage which seems insignificant, but holds vital information. We would rather be able to view that footage to check ourselves than miss any crucial evidence.

We believe that there may be people with information who feel frightened about coming forward. They can share information completely anonymously via the independent charity CrimeStoppers.

We have charged three people with murder in connection with this incident, who have all been remanded into custody.
