Altercation between moped and car Birmingham
We’re appealing for information following an altercation between a moped rider and a car in Birmingham.
Details of Incident
We’re appealing for information following an altercation between a moped rider and a car in Birmingham.
The rider was travelling on Garretts Green Lane, near the roundabout which connects it to Ollerton Road, at around 7.30pm on Monday (12 October).
The silver estate-type car was then driven away back up Garretts Green Lane and down Sheldon Heath Road.
We’ve been carrying out urgent enquiries, and are reviewing CCTV from the area, and are now appealing for the public’s help identifying those involved.
The biker was riding with a pillion passenger at the time, who left the area on the bike via Barrows Lane after the incident.
Det Insp Michael Wright, from our Major Crime Unit, said: “It’s really important that we identify the rider, passenger and occupants of the car as quickly as possible so that we can establish the full circumstances of what happened".
“I’d appeal for anyone who was driving in the area at the time, and who saw the car in the image, or remembers seeing a motorbike with two people on board, to get in touch".
“I’m particularly keen to see any dashcam or mobile phone footage from the area as well.”
