We're appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a man tragically died following a collision in Stratford Road, Birmingham.

A black Audi and blue Vauxhall Meriva were involved in a collision - along with a parked car - near the junction of Ladypool Road at around 11.50pm on Friday (1 August).

A 22-year-old man was taken to hospital but sadly died. Our thoughts and support are with his loved ones at this terrible time.

Three other people remain in hospital with injuries.

Our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are currently working to establish the full circumstances of what happened.

We know there were members of the public who assisted people from the Meriva and we're keen to speak to them as soon as possible.
