Appeal for information death of Darius POPAN
Details of Incident
South Yorkshire Police have launched an investigation into the death of Darius POPAN aged 15 years.
Darius was found with injuries by a member of the public at approximately 7 pm on 27th July 2024 on the Trans Pennine Trail between Sprotbrough and Warmsworth approximately 300m from the Cemetery on Guest Lane, Warmsworth, Doncaster .
Emergency services were called and Darius was conveyed to hospital where he sadly died the following day.
Darius was known to be in the area riding his gold coloured pedal cycle and was wearing a short sleeved green t-shirt with a dark coloured gilet with a white stripe horizontally around the middle, dark coloured joggers and trainers. He was wearing a dark coloured bag across his body.
We are keen to hear from anyone who was in this area between 2pm and 9pm on Saturday 27th July 2024
