Appeal following fatal house fire in Wigan
GMP have launched a Murder investigation and are appealing for information in relation to a male who has died in a suspected arson in Wigan.
Details of Incident
At approximately 0640 hours on Wednesday 14th August 2024, emergency services were called to reports of a man trapped in a property on Dumbarton Green, Wigan due to a fire.
A male in his 40s was taken to hospital with injuries considered to be life threatening and later died in hospital.
A man has been arrested in connection with Police enquiries.
