Detectives are appealing for witnesses and footage following the death of Kerry Ann Goodbrand on the afternoon of Friday 21 August 2026. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading to her death, and officers are asking anyone with information that may assist the investigation to contact police.  

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 3pm on Friday 21 August 2026 following reports that a woman had fallen from a height at Astley House, Rowcross Street SE1.

The woman has now been named as Kerry Ann Goodbrand. Sadly, despite the efforts of emergency services, she died at the scene.

Her family have been informed and continue to be supported by specially trained officers.

Detectives are carrying out extensive enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding Kerry Ann's death and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has information or footage that could assist the investigation, to come forward.

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who recorded the incident on a mobile phone, or who may have CCTV, doorbell camera or vehicle dashcam footage from the area. Please retain any footage and contact police to arrange for it to be viewed.
